How to use

Prep

For a streak-free self tan:

Apply to clean, exfoliated skin using our Bronze On Applicator Mitt
Use sparingly on elbows, knees and ankles. Wash hands after application.
Rinse in lukewarm water after 1-3+ hours

CHOOSE HOW DARK YOU WANT TO GO. Shower in 1 hour for a natural tan. Leave on longer, for a deeper darker skin finish. Rinse with lukewarm water only for 45 seconds. Do not use soap or scrubs. Following your first shower your tan will continue to deepen in color over the next 24 hours. Regular showering may be taken 8-16 hours after application.

We recommend using our Bronze On Applicator Mitt and using only 15ml / 0.5fl oz per full body tan. You should achieve 10-15 tans per bottle. If you dare double coat we recommend using 25ml /0.85fl oz.

tanning tips

Before

Exfoliate and moisturize

24 hours before you apply your self tan, paying particular attention to elbows, knees, ankles and problem areas
Wax or shave at least 48 hours prior to treatment

This allows the pores time to close. Dotting in pores may appear if not adhered to.
Don’t apply moisturiser, perfume, deodorant or makeup on the day of application

These products may act as a barrier against your skin and can prevent the tanning actives from developing evenly.

After

Wear dark, loose clothing

Tight clothing or underwear may cause marks. Wear loose fitting shoes.
Moisturize everyday after applying your self tan

Or consider using a gradual tan so that your tan is continually being topped up and your tan lasts longer.
After day 5, exfoliate with a soft body polish on a daily basis

This helps your skin absorb even more moisturizer and keep it looking and feeling gorgeous. This also helps the tan fade naturally, rather than in patches.

Absolute-ly Average

After reading the claims and marketing of the product and being in the market for a new self tanner after playing Scientist mixing and trialing self tanner after self tanner, I decided to give this one a go. Unfortunately whether it be the undertone, depth or possibly both, this one failed to produce the “deepest, darkest tan ever” as it claimed to do. I’ve tried twice, first time leaving it on for 3 hours, the second time for 4. If it wasn’t for what looks like a pearlescent shimmer in the formula, the developed tan itself would fall flat completely. I’d say this is a decent light golden tan at best.

Doesn't hold up

I'm not a fan of this one I thought I would like it, the color when you first put it on is a really nice color but it doesn't stay on and it barely darkens you at all. This one is definitely my least favorite.
